N&T Hogan Construction Limited commenced work on site at Queen of the Universe in Bagenalstown, Carlow in March 2024.
This consisted of the removal of existing gardens and disposal off site. This was an extremely tight site with access onto the main road having to be monitored continuously.
Soil samples were required for disposal purposes. These results were negative. The site was stripped within three days. Tram and stone was laid in preparation for the foundations for a modular unit consisting of four classrooms.
Due to site access constrictions, foul, storm and water main services were complete prior to installation of units. This also included make up for footpaths and macadam areas.
The installation of the modular units was completed within four days.
Once installation of modular unit was completed, N & T Hogan Construction Limited were able to proceed with external finishes. This mainly consisted off form work and pouring of concrete to steps and ramps. Macadam around the building and the installation of a new 2.4 m boundary fence.
- Finished steps to the modular unit
- New ramp constructed to the modular unit.
- Completed 2.4 m fence surrounding the new unit
- Steps off the new ramp
